What Is An Air Conditioner?
Air conditioners use an indoor coil (evaporator) to draw in heat, thus cooling the space. A pump (compressor) moves refrigerant between the evaporator and an outdoor coil (condenser) to deliver the collected heat outside.
Fun Fact: This is the opposite of how your refrigerator works!
